- The Utah Electronic High School is a US]] state virtual school founded in 1994 (among the first in the country)
- 7,846 course enrollments in 2009-10, representing a negligible increase; 630 FTEs
- Grants diplomas to a very restricted group of Utah students: those home-schooled exclusively, those who have dropped out of school and their class has graduated, and direct school district referrals to EHS
- Most students take classes from EHS to make-up failed quarter classes or to accelerate their graduation from their local high school
- Operates through a free, open-source interface
