It is part of larger group ''Oregon Colleges Online''.

			Each term the colleges offer hundreds of classes via Internet, television, interactive CD, mail and in "interactive satellite campus" classrooms. Classes are open to students all over the world. Certificates and Associate's degrees are available.

			As early as 2000, OCCDL had has many as 25,893 online learners (as well as 15792 in other "telecourses" - see report at http://occdl.chemeketa.edu/admin/OCCDLStateSnapshot.pdf).
