<p><b>New page</b></p><div>The EU countries comprise 27 countries as follows: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.<br />

Until 31 January 2020, the United Kingdom was also an EU country.<br />
<br />
The EU countries plus UK are sometimes called the EU28.<br />
